Not every Acrylic resin is a valid UV-curable resin. The higher reactivity ones are preferred, but prices can be pretty steep for these resins. They are only used for decorative purposes by me, so if you want your badge to have a shiny look, you may too. But make sure to rely on the best UV resin for the best results; in my case, they went really well. This is a list of what I actually faced in curating my resin badge, and I want you to have a glance to avoid any mishaps.
Applying wax is the final step in polishing resin. Carnuba wax can be used on any surface, including wood, metal, and painted surfaces. To polish resin, all you need is sandpaper and some polishing compound. First, clean your piece with soap and water to make sure there's no debris or dirt on it.
