Of course, time will tell how it holds up. I did already test the pet care fabric to see if liquids are repelled and they definitely are. The cat also felt the need to double-test the fabric and all was well. I’m thinking I will need to update this post in a year to share how well everything holds up and thoughts on Home Reserve ownership for the long haul. But for now, consider me a happy Home Reserve customer. If I ever have need for another sofa/sectional/chair, pretty sure Home Reserve is the first place I’ll look.
I chose this company based on their ethos, which the employees, in turn, emulated thoroughly. I received my sectional and it was missing fittings and also feet. It takes about a hour to assemble each piece, so its a full day of assembly....wasn't mentioned in the marketing.

We just went back to the website and ordered the one extra piece. If we ever want to change or reconfigure the layout, each piece can be unattached from it’s neighbor and rearranged as we see fit. It’s 100% customizable to your exact needs.
It was hipped very quickly and I surprised to receive it as soon as I did. Overall, I am very happy with this sectional despite my family’s desire to have big brown back up here haha! Fortunately for them that has moved to the basement so they can still enjoy it down there.

I would highly recommend Home Reserve to anyone! Whether you are a dog owner, cat owner, have kids or it’s just you this couch can grow with you in all seasons of life. It’s great quality, looks amazing, customer service is top notch and the whole process from ordering to assembling is so easy.
I was concerned about that but have been pleasantly surprised. If you have tall people that will be using it, they might not find it too comfy, simply because of the lack of cushion depth . But as far as the actual cushion comfort, 2 thumbs up. And it’s custom to the exact size and configuration that we need. I really can’t think of any downsides to it.

Love our couch, it’s black fabric and easy to vacuum off and spot clean. The storage space inside really helps keep the clutter down and hides our extra blankets and pillows. It’s sturdy and compact sonic fits in our house without taking up a lot of room. Very comfortable and I enjoy sitting on it to relax. So what’s involved in putting together you’re own couch from what can only be described as wooden, plastic, and foam puzzle pieces? I took the day off when ours was delivered so I could dedicate the whole day to putting the sectional together.
Had we known, we probably would not have made the purchase even though I love the idea of washable covers. Secondly, it arrived with missing pieces. We were on a tight time crunch because our house is a vacation rental and it all had to be done in a matter of days. Thirdly, I don't think the couch is all that comfortable. I feel like I'm sitting on a couch in a doctor's office.
For us we stuck with our original, but when our order came, one of the pieces got damaged in transit. Customer service was phenomenal- they not only arranged to ship to us, but even held the shipping by a few days so it wouldn't arrive when we were out of town. The only thing I don't love about it is the depth, it could be deeper. We don't find it uncomfortable at all. Even after all these years, the cushions have held up, there's no sagging or compressed foam.
After getting through the first piece, we quickly formed a chain of command and flew through the remaining pieces. We love the color, material, and built in storage. A SOLID COMPANY. A SOLID WARRANTY. A SOLID PRODUCT. We love our new couch. We purchased it from a family who was moving and the warranty transferred to us without any question. Stephanie, our customer service rep, was so fast, polite, fun and kind. She was so lovely to work with and within 1 day had our replacement pieces needed.
But with all the work we did, there is NO WAY we can return it. First, to order a custom couch during the insane shipping times and have it come in two weeks flat was amazing. Second, Home Reserve worked with me to ensure it came just on the day I wanted. Third, when picking my couch, they answered every question I have clearly and quickly.
Well one year later & way too many pieces are broken & need to be replaced. The price for replacement is way too much. Might as well buy a whole new couch for that price & never have to deal with this piece of crap again. The unfinished wood leaves dust & wood chips all over & splinters in the cushions.
